Meeting platforms this works with

Zoom recordings

Upload a downloaded Zoom recording (MP4 or M4A) to get a transcript instead of re-watching it to write up notes.

Google Meet recordings

Meet recordings saved to Drive export as MP4 — download the file and transcribe it directly.

Microsoft Teams recordings

Teams recordings saved to OneDrive or Stream export as MP4 too — the audio track is extracted and transcribed automatically.

Standups and status meetings

Turn a recurring team sync into searchable notes you can scan for decisions and action items without sitting through the recording again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Meeting-specific questions about transcription and speaker labels

Can it tell who said what in the meeting?
There's an experimental "Identify speakers" option that labels turns in the conversation as "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2", and so on, in distinct colors. Click a label to rename it everywhere at once — e.g. "Speaker 1" → "Sarah". This is turn-based change detection, not true voice-identity diarization, so for longer meetings or 3+ participants the same label isn't guaranteed to stay the same person throughout.
Do I need a Zoom/Meet/Teams link, or just the file?
Just the downloaded recording file (MP4, M4A, or similar) — the tool reads the file directly in your browser. It doesn't connect to any meeting platform or need an account.
Is there a limit on meeting length?
No artificial limit. A 15-minute standup or a 2-hour workshop both work; longer recordings just take more time and memory depending on your device.
Can I export it in a format I can share as meeting minutes?
Yes — export as TXT, Word (.docx), or PDF with speaker names and timestamps included, or as CSV/JSON if you want structured data for another tool.
Is the meeting recording uploaded to a server?
No. Everything — reading the file, extracting audio, transcribing, identifying speakers — happens locally in your browser. The recording never leaves your device.
