Health tools
Health calculators (BMI, BMR, TDEE, body fat, calorie burn, heart rate zones, sleep cycles, and others) use published clinical formulas and population-level data. Individual results can vary significantly based on medical conditions, medications, genetics, and other factors not captured by these formulas. Results are for informational and educational purposes only and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
Finance tools
Financial calculators (salary, income tax, GST, EMI, mortgage) provide estimates based on published formulas and standard tax rates. Tax calculations depend on individual circumstances, deductions, and exemptions that may not be fully captured. Always verify calculations with a qualified accountant or tax professional before filing returns or making financial decisions.
How calculations work
Every calculator uses published formulas (for example, the WHO BMI classification, MET values for calorie burn, Naegele's rule for due dates, standard amortization math, or published tax slabs). Results depend on the inputs you provide and the assumptions built into the formula. Different formulas can give different answers, which is why tools like the Ideal Weight Calculator or Body Fat Calculator show several methods side by side.
File processing tools
PDF and image tools process files locally in your browser. We test them across common file types, but we cannot guarantee byte-perfect output for every possible file — some PDFs use unusual structures, encodings, or features that may not survive processing. Always review the output before using it for official purposes, and keep your original file as a backup.
SEO and developer tools
SEO tools (meta tags generator, schema markup generator) produce valid HTML markup, but search engine behavior is determined by the search engine, not by our tools. Generated markup does not guarantee specific search results, rich snippets, or ranking improvements. Developer tools (JSON formatter, regex tester, hash generator) produce technically correct output, but always verify results before using them in production systems.
Third-party services
Some ForgePlug features involve third-party services. Contact form submissions are processed by Firebase and Resend. Support donations are processed by Razorpay. Analytics and advertising (when consent is granted) are provided by Google and Microsoft. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and terms. ForgePlug is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Availability
Tools are provided “as is” and may change or be removed at any time. We aim for high availability, but ForgePlug is not liable for losses arising from downtime, tool errors, or reliance on calculator results.
