Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ForgePlug(“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

ForgePlug provides free online utility tools for developers, creators, students, and professionals. Most tools process data entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript — your files, code, and data never leave your device for these tools. Some features (such as the contact form, support donations, and paid tool unlocks) involve transmitting data to our servers; those features are described in these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content through the Service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity

Tool Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive for accuracy, the tools provided on ForgePlug are intended for informational and general purposes. You should not rely solely on these tools for critical decisions without independent verification. Specifically:

  • Financial calculators provide estimates only, not financial advice
  • Health tools provide general information, not medical advice
  • Conversion tools aim for accuracy but may not handle all edge cases
  • Code tools format and transform content — always verify output before production use

Contact Form and Support Donations

Some features of ForgePlug do transmit data to our servers:

  • Contact form — When you submit a message, your name (optional), email, category, and message content are stored in Firebase Realtime Database and sent via Resend email service.
  • Support donations — Voluntary donations are processed by Razorpay. We record only the currency and donation amount; we do not store payment card details.
  • Paid tool unlocks — Some tools offer a one-time paid unlock for a larger run, processed by Razorpay. We do not store payment card details; a short-lived, single-use token with no personal data is issued to redeem the purchase.

Intellectual Property

The ForgePlug name, logo, design, user interface, and underlying code are the intellectual property of ForgePlug. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without express written permission.

The tools themselves are provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. However, the underlying source code, design system, and visual assets may not be copied or redistributed.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any tools or information obtained through the Service meets your expectations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ForgePlug SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any errors or omissions in the content or tools

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ForgePlug harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
